Store Policies

Shipping and Handling:

We are happy to cover regular shipping costs for customers’ orders. Since we incur additional charges from our vendors when customers request drop shipments, these charges will be passed onto the customers’ bill.

These drop shipment charges are typically around $5-10, depending on vendor policies.

Rush shipment costs will be at the customers expense, although we will still pay towards the non-expedited charges.

Defective Merchandise:

We strive to sell our customers only high quality items. However, should a defective product sneak out of our store, please let us know ASAP.

Particularly with shoes, we must inspect any items and ship them back to our vendors for  credit, if need be.

If the unfortunate situation does arise customers will receive in-store credit for their purchase, or an exchange for the same item.

 *However, for many reasons, open package tights and undergarments are not returnable.

Return and Exchange Eligibility:

We offer our customers the opportunity to make an exchange within 30 days of purchase when accompanied by the receipt.  This is our “No Refunds, Exchange Only with Receipt” policy, and remains our standard practice.

To be eligible for an exchange, an item must be in excellent condition with its resealable original packaging.  Clothing and shoes must appear to be fresh off-the-store-hanger or in out-of-the-box  condition.

For hygienic reasons (and other concerns), customers are not permitted to return tights, undergarments, or unitards after they have been taken from their package (except by TPW employees). These items may not be tried-on or fitted in the store unless purchased first. 

We maintain samples in the store that may be touched, felt, stretched, and examined.  We strive to work with you and ensure that the best choice is made during your visit.
